“Fight for your Light” is the concept chosen by Como Lighting for its first participation in Euroluce
A simple and direct space, set up in an industrial workshop style, divided into four areas conceptually representative of the four seasons of life.
“Fight for your light” is the company’s motto for the 2025 edition of Euroluce, an invitation to all designers and users to raise their voices for a light that is increasingly human-scale, increasingly project-scale. A vision that ComoLighting has been proposing for years, creating lighting systems that are strongly oriented towards design objectives and customized for the context for which they are designed and conceived.
The concept – playing on the assonance of the words “light”, “rights” and “life” – proposes a passionate and idealistic vision of light, which reaffirms the centrality of lighting in architectural design and aims to fuel the discussion on the need for maximum customization of the lighting project: good light is life; good light must be a right for everyone.
Inside the space designed for the Salone Internazionale dell’Illuminazione, with “Fight for your Light”, ComoLighting immerses its work and its idea of light in the allegory of existence, suggesting to the visitor – through the metaphorical interpretation of the four phases of life, birth, development, maturity, awareness – not to stop at the appearance of things, but to go in search of the deeper meaning of what surrounds him: only in this way can he “illuminate” his daily life and enjoy the infinite facets of reality.
Genesis is where it all begins: the conception of a lighting system from the abstract idea to its development and realization process, according to the well-tested OLE1 methodology.
In this space Fly – idea itself made matter – floats above our heads bringing its alien light to illuminate our intuitions, in a self-sustaining and infinite circular process.
Vigor represents the season of energy and productivity, illuminated by the high-performance and stimulating light of the Tya family: a precise and comfortable light, of great visual quality. Strength, prowess, well-being and value: non-antithetical nouns that are perfectly compatible in a totally customizable project in which aesthetics, optics and emission can be controlled – thanks to GrowLine2 technologies – to the point of encouraging the coexistence of humans, plants and vegetables in an indoor environment.
With Wisdom we mature our convictions: “Fight for your Light” is the result of a thoughtful thought in the light of two Magda, pendant lamps with a simple shape but an extremely complex and articulated substance; and even when maturity seems to place us on the margins of existence, with discretion, from “behind the blackboard”, the Asen3 lamp firmly reminds us of our goal. It is wrong to remain at the superficial level of things: perseverance pays, knowledge illuminates.
Life is the completion of the cycle, the moment in which one analyzes one’s existence and defines the value built up over time: life itself. Life generated and fed by the GrowLine2 photo-phytostimulation systems, which provide nourishment, substance, life, first to plant species, then to the man who feeds on them. But also life lived, brought back to memory with the Suninside project, created for the medical team of Villa San Benedetto Menni, a healthcare facility that deals with neurodegenerative diseases: an aromatic garden that, thanks to light, evokes primordial scents and positive sensations, vital for our existence4.
Fight for your Light photographs the current way of “making light” by ComoLighting, made of deep research, technological innovation and oriented towards a future of great environmental, economic and social sustainability.
Fight for your Light is an inspiration not to give up in the face of the banality of standards, but to fight for a clear and strong identity of the project, because light is form, color and freedom of expression for matter: light is a right, light is life.
