Milan, June 2025 – The new Sisal Wincity Green in Corso San Gottardo, Milan, has opened as Sisal’s first sustainable concept store, designed together with the architecture firm Lombardini22 to redefine the retail entertainment experience with a sustainable, social, and inclusive approach.Within this innovative space that combines entertainment, dining, art, and greenery, Como Lighting has designed and installed the technical photo-phytostimulating lighting for the green areas, green walls, and the ceiling entirely made of real plants, transforming light into an active tool for the well-being of indoor greenery and the creation of a regenerative urban microenvironment.
GLT technology by Como Lighting serving indoor greenery
The project uses GrowLine Tech (GLT) technology developed by Como Lighting, a lighting solution initially created for the horticulture and floriculture sectors and now applied to architectural spaces to ensure:
• the well-being and growth of plants indoors,
• the aesthetic stability of greenery over time,
• compliance with energy efficiency and visual comfort standards for people.
The green areas of Wincity Green thus become true “living spaces”, harmoniously integrated with the architecture and nourished by lighting designed to respect plant health and growth cycles.

A new light for sustainable retail
The Wincity Green project marks an important milestone in the retail sector, embracing an approach that integrates recycled materials, low-energy systems, waste sorting, social safety initiatives (Punti Viola with DonneXStrada), and artistic partnerships with NABA, confirming Sisal’s role as a pioneer in a new model of responsible entertainment.
In this context, light becomes a strategic design element, not only enhancing the space but also actively supporting the sustainability and biophilic choices that the project promotes.
